My name is Ruairidh (Ruri), and I love to think about thinking. This has taken me through Biology, Medicine, Neuroscience, and most recently Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence. I want to understanding the fabric of human experience better through mathematical and scientific theories about the brain and mind. These methodologies add avenues for self-understanding—ways of thinking that themselves evoke new thought.

Another such road is experience, and I seek this by traveling far and wide. To become fully one with somewhere new, you are transformed. This is also true of practice, be it meditation, surfing, or making music.
